Avanti Language Institute

I wanted to give the students an enhanced experience of living in Ireland by creating a sense of freshness and ‘well-being’.

The Interior Design Project:
Renovation of the social areas of the Avanti Language Institute in Naas.

The space is developed on an area of over 50m² that contains classrooms, a living room, a study-Internet zone, a library and dining facilities. The design work is the representation of the brand identity of the Institute and also incorporates the architecture of an original Georgian house. It was very important to keep a nice balance between contemporary decoration and the traditional Georgian architecture. In line with the official logo, the space contains the three brand corporate colours: green, red and white.

We opted for the use of warm materials like leather and wool in the sitting area to create a pleasant ambiance. We combined these features with practical seating and the necessary storage facilities for the school.

The Result:
A bright and welcoming space to suit young, international students. Very vibrant colours were used to inspire them. We also created the right mix of natural and artificial light by allowing enough sunlight in the rooms along with LED lights in the ceilings. The overall result is a fresh, inviting and stimulating space with a warm and cheerful environment.
